How can I book?
Scheduled tours can be booked immediately using the booking page. Please select an available date for your run. Upon selecting an event you will be taken to a PayPal payment page where you will be asked to pay a 20% deposit using your card.
VIP tours and trail runs can be booked by contacting us directly to arrange a time and place that suits you. You can use the form HERE to make a booking request. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
How much notice is required?
We will always try to accommodate you, however late you book. For scheduled group tours, we ask you try to book by 18:00 the day before the run. VIP tours can be booked whenever you like by sending us a message. We will do our best to fit you in, but note that more notice will increase the likelihood of a guide being available at your preferred time. Want to run today? Give us a try!
Can I leave a bag?
Your guide will have a small bag in which you can place small items such as keys and phones. We carry these as a favour and do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
If you need to leave a bag, please contact us after you have booked and we will give you directions to paid lockers.
How long are the runs?
Scheduled city tours are either 8km or 12km. VIP tours can be adapted to suit most requests. Ask today!
What weather can I expect?
Weather varies from season to season. During the summer, we schedule runs in the morning and evenings to avoid the summer heat.
What happens if it’s raining?
Tours are run in most weather conditions, rain or shine. For the safety of participants, tours may be postponed by up to 30 minutes to allow adverse weather to pass, or cancelled if it is deemed unsafe.
Do I need to carry water?
You are more than welcome to carry a water bottle with you as we move around the city. However, we will pass multiple water stops en route if you prefer to run without.
Appropriate hydration is recommended for the trail runs. Water stops to fill bottles will be available at the start, middle and end of trail runs.
What should I wear?
For city tours, lightweight clothing suitable for running, a sun hat or visor and sunscreen are all advised. The sun can be quite intense in Brisbane and a high factor sun block is recommended.
How fast are the runs?
We conduct the tours at a comfortable jog and for group tours will run at the pace of the slowest runner. We want you to have fun as you experience Brisbane.
Can I do tours in the evening?
We love Brisbane at night and will be happy to guide you around in the evening. We will do our best to light the way for you and while some sights may be more difficult to see, the city vista is lovely at night and offers something different to the day tours.
Does Brisbane Running Tours operate throughout the year?
Yes. Weather in Brisbane in very mild in the winter. Our summer runs will avoid the midday heat for your comfort and safety.
Am I required to sign a disclaimer?
During the bookings process, you will be asked to read and agree to the disclaimer. This is a condition of all bookings. A group booking can only be made if all participants agree that the person making the booking has been designated to sign the disclaimer for them.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure participant safety, tours take place on public pathways and require participants to cross public roads. Tours also involve physical activity, for which you must be medically fit to undertake. By certifying you accept all possible risks involved in this tour, you agree to not hold Brisbane Running Tours or agents acting on their behalf liable for any eventuality.
